This adventure is a perfect immersion into one of Wells Gray Park’s most breathtaking alpine environments—Trophy Mountain Flower Meadows. Ideal from late June through August, this guided experience offers a moderately challenging hike to panoramic viewpoints and carpets of vibrant wildflowers.  Wildflower season varies each year and cannot be guaranteed for blooms, but the mountains are spectacular all the time!

🌼 Half-Day Flower Meadows Hike Duration:

~4 to 4.5 hours (including drive & hike)

Level: Easy to Moderate

Season: Late June to October  Departs: 8:00 AM  from Clearwater, BC

Wander through one of Canada’s most stunning alpine meadows, bursting with wildflowers in peak bloom. This half-day guided hike is perfect for families, photographers, or anyone seeking a peaceful taste of Wells Gray’s high country.

Includes: Guided hike to alpine meadows (5 km round trip)

Interpretive wildflower tour Scenic picnic stop

Transportation from Clearwater (IF NECESSARY) 

 

🏔️ Full-Day Sheila Lake & Plateau of Lakes Hike

Duration: ~6–6.5 hours total

Level: Moderate to Challenging

Season: Mid-July to Mid-October

Departs: 8:00 AM from Clearwater, BC

Go beyond the meadows and into true alpine wilderness. This full-day trek takes you past Sheila Lake and onto the remote Plateau of Lakes—an elevated landscape filled with glacial tarns and panoramic views. A must-do for adventurous hikers.

Includes: Guided alpine hike (10–12 km round trip)

Lunch (bring your own picnic) at Sheila Lake (optional cold plunge!)

Exploration of remote alpine lakes

Transportation from Clearwater (IF NECESSARY)

Water (1–2L),

Swimsuit & towel (optional on full-day hike)

Please note that the flower blooms vary every year and we cannot predict exactly when each bloom will happen, therefor we cannot guarantee your experience will match a previous persons, or the next persons.  This is the beauty of the wild flowers, every experience is unique!
